Effective Communication
Connecting children with both parents

Emanoela Cassins is a communication specialist also qualified as Portuguese GCSE examiner, working in partnership with schools across Oxfordshire. Ema is currently furthering her studies with a specialisation in attachment-led counselling focused in parental alienation.

I'm happy that you found me!

I completed my teacher training program focused on special education in Brazil. I currently work with the Special Educational Needs Support Services (SENSS) in the UK. In 2018, I graduated in English Language & Communication. I also hold a postgraduate certificate in Psychology.

I never stopped studying and I love learning new skills. I'm a member of the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG) and I have recently completed a Continuing Professional Development course in 'Attachment-Led Theory and Practice in Parental Alienation', and training in Bereavement and Grief Counselling. Together with my previous experiences, I am well equipped to support families navigating the complexities of parental relationships and attachment issues.

As a mother of four and stepmother to three wonderful children, I experienced parental alienation (PA) in my childhood and in my adulthood - as a stepmother. As part of my healing process and in an effort to raise awareness about PA, I published my first picture book on the subject, and I am so proud of it.

My goal is to guide both, alienated children and ‘target’ parents towards what is right. Realigning their love and care is essential. By putting their past behind them and bringing the child back to the centre, we may hold the key to stopping this type of abuse. Effective communication is a great start, enforcing justice is crucial." — Emanoela Cassins
